The GM702.01.08 Construction (Rail) for Hanging 8 Climbing Ropes is the largest standard configuration within the Interplastic climbing rope rail system range. Designed for schools, universities, sports halls, military training centres and large gymnastics facilities, it enables safe and efficient use of up to eight climbing ropes simultaneously.

The system is based on a robust ceiling-mounted rail construction manufactured from heavy-duty steel profiles and protected by a durable powder-coated finish. The specially engineered auxiliary structure utilizes a reinforced 120 × 80 × 3 mm steel support beam, ensuring excellent rigidity and reliable load transfer to the building structure.

A key advantage of the system is the integrated sliding rail mechanism equipped with guiding trolleys and rope trolleys connected by spacing chains. This arrangement maintains consistent rope positioning and ensures approximately one metre spacing between stations, improving user comfort and training safety.

The structure is individually adapted to the building and supplied with custom-designed mounting brackets suitable for wooden, steel and reinforced concrete roof constructions. This flexibility allows installation in both new sports facilities and modernization projects.

When not in use, the ropes may be moved into a storage position beneath the ceiling. This space-saving solution significantly increases usable floor area and allows sports halls to be quickly adapted for other activities, competitions and physical education classes.

To ensure maximum operational safety, the system is equipped with an integrated locking mechanism that prevents accidental movement of the rail. Release of the locking system is performed using a dedicated polypropylene operating rope, providing safe and convenient control during daily operation.
