The BB102.02.01 180×105 cm Tempered Safety Glass Basketball Backboard is a professional indoor backboard designed for sports halls, basketball clubs, schools, universities and multi-purpose sports facilities. It combines a regulation-size tempered glass panel with a reinforced steel support frame to provide dependable performance during training sessions, league games and intensive competitive play.

The front panel is manufactured from 12 mm tempered safety glass. A transparent protective film is applied to one side of the glass to help prevent fragments from falling onto the playing surface if the backboard is damaged. This safety feature makes the product suitable for indoor basketball facilities where dependable performance and user protection are essential.

One of the backboard’s key structural advantages is the direct attachment of the dunk ring to the steel support frame. A dedicated cut-out in the glass allows the ring mounting plate to transfer loads directly to the metal construction rather than to the glass panel. This helps protect the backboard against damage caused by forceful dunks and intensive competitive use.

The glass panel has no drilled mounting holes. It is fixed to the support frame using white powder-coated steel angle sections and a gasket that helps reduce vibration and mechanical tension. This method provides even support for the glass and contributes to long-term structural durability.

The support frame is manufactured from 35 × 35 mm steel profiles and protected against corrosion with a white powder-coated finish. The standard frame colour is RAL 9003, while alternative colours are available on request.

The central target rectangle is marked with rigid white PVC tape measuring 50 mm in width. The clear and durable markings improve visibility and provide a professional appearance suitable for school, club and competition-level basketball courts.

The rear support frame features a 1200 × 600 mm mounting pattern according to DIN 7899. The backboard is designed for Y-type and HS ceiling-suspended basketball structures and is also compatible with Interplastic wall-mounted indoor basketball systems.
